The Concept of FoodCult Wiki
Foodcult is a collaborative experiment to determine where to eat, shop & cook in Melbourne, why we have particular preferences, and how our interactions with food shape our identities (national, cultural, gendered, etc). I just read tammois' review on Akita, and I was actually thinking the same thing abut the nomenclature of pages in this wiki.
For example, I had brunch at Birdman Eating on the weekend, and while I wouldn't necessarily feel comfortable placing a review under the 'Best Breakfast' page, I did feel the urge to give it a mention under 'Best Goat's Cheese on Toast', and OK for breakfast. Similarly, I finally got around to trying YourThai on Swanston st, and while it wouldn't make it under the 'Best Thai' page by any means - partly disqualified by distinctly Singaporean ownership and staff - I would highly recommend the Chiang Mai Beef Noodles...
Should we just ignore the word 'Best' and add lukewarm reviews..?

I think I may just need to do a big manual cut and paste so that pages are simply "Thai", etc. But that may have to wait until I'm back from overseas...
