You can't beat the long-running Age Good Food Guide winner of best Melbourne restaurant for top-end Chinese food and superb service. Undoubtedly the best seafood around, not to mention the Peking Duck. Yummmmmmm.

An institution among Chinese restaurants in Melbourne, purely because they specialise in Peking duck. And if we're going to be honest, not much else there on the menu is worth bothering about. It seems the legendary proprietor, Simon Lay, may have gone into semi-retirement, but his replacement has learned the ropes well, and puts on the same (no, really, the SAME) show in carving up the succulently juicy duck. You need to book ahead (9417 2438) and order your duck/s at least a day in advance. A good guide is 2 ducks for 5 people. billyl
