Kake di Hatti

Lygon St, East Brunswick

Price: Very reasonable

Oh, man, I love Indian food. In most of Melbourne, I reckon the Indian restaurants are middling to average. Not so Kake di Hatti, where the paneer tastes fresh and the palak has that beautiful bright green that indicates you are about to have a taste sensation. The malai kofta was just like I remember from Varanasi and the samosas were the tastiest little parcels outside of Agra. It's BYO and just across the road is a reasonably priced bottle shop with cleanskins. Schweet mate.
